Guest guest
I use the microwave alot I boil rice in it...androast my garlic in it The times for most things are cut in 1/3 to 1/5 but check every couple of mintes for baked things...every few for boiled or stovetop recipies Many recipies can be transferred to the microwave though...some of them like beans and rice do not check often...boil rice at least 10 minutes before checking...as long as the water level is fine. beans at least 25 I have used a glass bowl with a little olive oil sprayed on it and a little watter in the bottom and put in for several minutes...covered...to steam the veggies....and other things...check to make shure water is in there but only put a little in the bottom...just dont burn completely away....this is easier in the microwave than on the stove... Hope this helps..ask for more if you want...improvise and test some recipies...a lot of them transfer well...though sometimes a little different spicing is neccessary Tanaista
