Speaking of cross-cultural spaghetti

Speaking of non-traditional ways to eat spaghetti, one of my

host families in Japan enjoyed spaghetti with a little

cooking oil and tarako (dried fish eggs). It's surprisingly

good!

 

Just to turn the tables, I also like putting more

traditional " spaghetti " toppings (steamed broccoli, stewed

tomatoes, parmesan chees, etc.) on Japanese soba buckwheat

noodles as a change of pace.
