Guest guest
x Made this for dinner one night when there wasn't much in the house, and it was so good I've made it several times since. All amounts are highly approximate. x Cook: 6-8 oz. pasta 1 chopped onion 3 small chopped red chiles, or to taste x in just enough water to do the job, then drain; the onion will be translucent but crisp, and thee won't be a whole lot of water to drain off. x Add: 1 can peas and carrots, drained. x Dress with the following mixture: 2 Tbsp. peanut butter 2 Tbsp. mayonnaise cider vinegar to taste curry powder to taste OR soybacon bits to taste, OR both red pepper to taste x Serve hot. NOTE: This is one dish where the sweetness and smoothness of commercial peanut butter are an asset, and are nicely balanced by the tang of the vinegar. If using an unsweetened peanut butter, add a teaspoon of honey or brown sugar. Rain @@@@ \\\\\ ....
