Guest guest Posted August 17, 1999 Report Share Posted August 17, 1999 Apple stew with custard Ingridents Stew apples: 3 apples 3 cups of water 4 tablespoon of sugar 1 tablespoon lemon juice 1 stick cinnamon for the custard 3 cups of apple syrup 3 tablespoon sugar 3 tablespoon custard powder Method (to stew apples): 1.Peel apples. Cut into equal halves. Remove seeds 2.Boil water with sugar, lemon juice and cinnamon 3.Add the apple pieces, Cook, covered for 3 to 4 minutes till apples turn soft 4.Remove the apples from the syrup and transfer the apples to a dish. Reserve the syrup. Method (to prepare custard) 1.Dissolve custard powder in half cup syrup. 2.Boil the leftover syrup with sugar. 3.Add the dissolved custard, stirring continuously. 4.Boil till translucent and slightly thick 5.Pour over the apples placed in the dish. 6.Chill 7.Sprinkle shredded pistachio in the center of each apple. 8.Serve Chilled Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
