Teri of NC Crockpot Cream of Lentil Soup 1 lb. dried lentils 1 med. onion, chopped 1 clove garlic, minced 1 med. carrot, chopped 1 celery stalk, chopped 3 c water 1 c heavy cream Salt & pepper, to taste Soak lentils overnight. Drain. Put all the ingredients in the crockpot except the heavy cream. Cover and cook on low for 8-10 hours. Stir in cream. Season with salt & pepper to taste.
