Guest guest
Thanks for sharing this recipe, ckayp77, it is very unusual but sounds delicious. I just placed in our files section in the Casseroles subfolder of the Main Dishes folder. I do have a question though. Right under the recipe title you list " vegetables " . Is this just a recipe category or do you add other vegetables you have onhand to this casserole? Thanks. ~ PT ~ There is no beautifier of complexion, or form, or behavior, like the wish to scatter joy and not pain around us. ~ Ralph Waldo Emerson, writer and philosopher (1803-1882) `````````````````````````````````````````````````````` , " ckayp77 " <ckpenner77 wrote: > > Crockpot Granny Jean's Lima Bean Casserole > > vegetables > > 1 lb dry lima beans > 3 teaspoon salt > 1 tablespoon molasses > 1/2 cup butter > 3/4 cup packed brown sugar > 1 tablespoon dry mustard > 1/2 cup sour cream > > Cover beans with water and 1 ts salt, soak overnight.
