Guest guest
Thank you for the recipe for " Italian Stew " in the crock pot using Quorn " Tenders " . This is probably the first recipe I have found for this product specifically. I've learned to love several of the Quorn products and will definitely try this recipe soon! I am wondering if it would also be tasty using the Quorn " meatballs " --I really like them, too! --Laura B., in Illinois
Guest guest
You are very welcome, Laura. I hope you try it soon and enjoy it. It is a very versatile recipe. Last time I made it, I didn't have any Quorn tenders, so I used some veggie crumbles [i think MorningStar brand]. Anyway, it came out great and the leftovers were even better when I took them in my lunchbox to work. You could feel confident using pretty much any other protien source in this recipe. Those Quorn meatball would be great. ~ PT ~ Lisa: " Do we have any food that wasn't brutally slaughtered? " Homer: " Well, I think the veal died of loneliness.
