Guest guest Posted October 24, 2008 Report Share Posted October 24, 2008 @@@@@ CL Sweet-and-Sour Baked Beans 2 cups chopped onion Cooking spray 3/4 cup ketchup 1/3 cup packed brown sugar 1/3 cup pure maple syrup 1/4 cup cider vinegar 1/4 cup water 1 tablespoon dry mustard 3 (16-ounce) cans light red kidney beans, rinsed and drained 6 soy " bacon " slices, baked and crumbled 1. Saute onion in a large nonstick skillet coated with cooking spray over medium-high heat 4 minutes or until tender. 2. Place onion and remaining ingredients in a 3 1/2- to 4-quart electric slow cooker; stir well. Cover with lid; cook on low-heat setting 6 hours.
