Yoder, Goshen, IN Serving Size : 12 Preparation Time :0:00 Categories : 4-5 quart Diabetic Slow Cooker Vegan WW Points Amount Measure Ingredient -- Preparation Method -------- ------------ -------------------------------- 4 tablespoons margarine 2 large Granny Smith apples -- unpeeled, cubed 1/4 cup brown sugar 2 tablespoons brown sugar substitute -- equal to 2 T brown sugar 2 tablespoons sugar 1 tablespoon sugar substitute -- equal to 1 T white sugar 1/2 cup ketchup, low sodium -- or no added salt 1 teaspoon cinnamon 1 tablespoon molasses 24 ounces great northern beans, canned -- undrained (1 can) 24 ounces pinto beans, canned -- undrained (1 can) Melt margarine in skillet. Add apples and cook until tender. Stir in brown sugar, sugar, and sugar substitutes. Cook until they melt. Stir in ketchup, cinnamon, and molasses. Add beans. Mix well. Pour into slow cooker. Cover. Cook on High 2-4 hours.
