Guest guest Posted October 17, 2008 Report Share Posted October 17, 2008 Milk and Honey Bread 1 cup milk 2/3 cup honey 1/4 cup butter 1 tablespoon baking powder 1 1/2 cups white flour 2 eggs 1 cup whole wheat flour 1/2 cup toasted wheat germ 1 cup walnut halves or chunks Heat milk and honey together until the honey is dissolved, then stir in the butter. When the milk and honey mixture is somewhat cooled, beat in the eggs. Sift together the flours and baking power. Add the wheat germ and gradually stir the dry mixture into the liquid.
