Guest guest Posted October 7, 2008 Report Share Posted October 7, 2008 Baked Apples-Crockpot 6 large cooking apples 3/4 cup orange juice 2 teaspoons grated orange rind 1 teaspoon lemon rind grated 3/4 cup rose wine 1/4 teaspoon cinnamon 1/2 cup brown sugar whipped cream, optional Remove core from apples and place in crockpot. Mix together all other ingredients except whipped cream. Pour over apples. Cover pot and cook on low for about 3 1/2 hours or until apples are tender. Cool and serve with whipped cream.
