Broccoli Rice Melange Recipe By :A Potful of Recipes, Joanna Lund Serving Size : 6 Preparation Time :0:00 Categories : A Potful of Recipes Rice & Grains Vegetables Amount Measure Ingredient -- Preparation Method -------- ------------ -------------------------------- 1 cup uncooked instant rice 4 cups frozen chopped broccoli -- thawed 1/2 cup chopped onion 1 12 oz can evaporated skim milk 1 10.75 oz can Healthy Request Cream of Mushroom Soup 1 cup shredded reduced-fat Cheddar cheese PLUS 2 tablespoons Spray a slow cooker container with butter-flavored cooking spray. In prepared container, combine uncooked rice, broccoli, and onion. Add evaporated skim milk and mushroom soup. Mix well to combine. Stir in Cheddar cheese. Cover and cook on low for 5 to 6 hours.
