Guest guest Posted July 28, 2008 Report Share Posted July 28, 2008 Crockpot Hot Herby Mushrooms 6 tbsps. butter 1 large onion, chopped 2 tsps. basil 2 tsps. oregano 1/2 tsp. thyme 1/4 cup lemon juice 1/2 cup sherry 1/4 to 1/2 tsp. red pepper flakes 3 lbs. mushrooms, washed, left whole ( I like to regular white ones) Turn the crockpot on high. Melt butter; add onion and sauté until onion is limp. Turn crockpot on low. Add spices, lemon juice, sherry and pepper flakes and allow mixture to steep on low for 1 to 2 hours.
