Guest guest Posted June 19, 2008 Report Share Posted June 19, 2008 Hi All, My name is Zelda and I live in San Francisco in a multi-generational household with my daughter, SIL and Granddaughter. I am not a complete vegetarian - occasionally I eat a little meat or chicken but not fish or seafood. My SIL, however, is a vegan. He WAS a vegetarian and now has gone vegan. So I have joined a couple of groups to learn how to cook vegan food for him and, while I am at it I am learning a lot about vegetarianism and getting a lot of good recipes for myself too. I like crockpot cooking and thought this would be a good place to find some ideas. I want to learn to cook beans in the crockpot because he likes me to cook him a pot of different kinds of beans every week and it seems it would be something really easy to do in the crockpot. I don't have any crockpot recipes to share at the moment but maybe later I will have something. In the meantime I look forward to learning from all of you.
