Guest guest
I am going to attempt to make bread pudding (maybe in my crockpot) using a variety of day old muffins/pastries from a resteraut (I volunteer at a food pantry, and we have a place that donates a lot of specialty bread, muffins cookies, and pasteries.... unfortunately, besides lots of bags of breads, rold and bagels, they usually send a box that they have just tossed in everything else. Some of it we can sort out and bag to give away, but there is always some that is edable, but it may be smashed, or crumbled, or otherwise, not really something we want to give out at the pantry. When i work, I have started bringing home the mishmosh box that they were going to throw out, and letting my husband and son (hes 6-and not too picky about some of it). I've never made bread pudding, but I would like to try it with these and would appreciate any help advise recipes or suggestions for both in the oven and crockpot bread pudding. Thanks in advance for your help. Amber
