Guest guest Posted February 23, 2002 Report Share Posted February 23, 2002 * Exported from MasterCook * Potatoes in Spaghetti Sauce Recipe By :The Vegetarian Slow Cooker by Joanna White, page 65 Serving Size : 4 Preparation Time :0:00 Categories : Potatoes The Vegetarian Slow Cooker Amount Measure Ingredient -- Preparation Method -------- ------------ -------------------------------- 8 large baking potatoes -- up to 10 26 ounces meatless spaghetti sauce 1 teaspoon minced garlic 3/4 cup chopped onion 2 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley 2 tablespoons chopped fresh basil or oregano -- optional 1 cup grated parmesan cheese for sprinkling -- optional Peel potatoes and cut into 1 /2-inch chunks. Place potatoes, spaghetti sauce, garlic, onions, parsley and basil or oregano in the slow cooker. Cook on low heat for 10 hours, or on high heat for 4 hours, until potatoes are tender. Sprinkle top of sauced potatoes with Parmesan cheese.
