Guest guest Posted February 18, 2002 Report Share Posted February 18, 2002 CROCK POT GARBANZOS AND COUSCOUS 1 small onion, chopped 3 carrots, chopped 1 14 1/2 oz. can diced tomatoes 1 15 oz. can garbanzo beans, drained 1 cup veggie broth 3 cloves garlic, minced 1/4 tsp. ground nutmeg 1/4 tsp. ground cinnamon 1 tsp. ground cumin 1/2 tsp. ground turmeric 1/4 tsp. cayenne 1 1/2 cups cooked couscous Combine all ingredients except couscous in crock pot. Mix thoroughly. Cover and cook on low 8 to 10 hours (high 3 to 4 hours). Add cooked couscous during last 15 minutes of cooking. 8 servings.
