Apple Oatmeal

Amount Measure Ingredient -- Preparation Method

2 cups milk

2 tablespoons butter

1/4 teaspoon salt

1/2 teaspoon cinnamon

1 cup dry old-fashioned dry oats

1 cup chopped apples

1/2 cup chopped walnuts

2 tablespoons brown sugar

 

Mix together all ingredients in greased slow cooker. Cover. Cook on low for 5

to 6 hours. Serve with milk or ice cream.

 

VARIATION: Add 1/2 cup light or dark raisins to mixture.
