Serve them often; they're a snap to fix. 3 1/2- to 4-quart cooker Makes 4 servings 1/4 cup maple syrup 1/4 cup apple juice I tablespoon butter 4 small sweet potatoes, peeled 1/2 cup raisins Mix the syrup and juice in an electric slow cooker. Add the butter, potatoes, and raisins. Cover and cook on LOW until the potatoes are tender, 8 to 10 hours. Serve with the syrup from the cooker and raisins spooned over the potatoes.
