Guest guest Posted September 3, 2001 Report Share Posted September 3, 2001 * Exported from MasterCook * Triple Chocolate Bread Pudding Recipe By :Betty Crocker's Slow Cooker Cookbook Serving Size : 8 Preparation Time :0:10 Categories : Betty Crocker's Slow Cooker CB Puddings & Custards Amount Measure Ingredient -- Preparation Method -------- ------------ -------------------------------- 6 cups chocolate bread slices 1/2 cup semisweet chocolate chips 1 cup fat-free cholesterol-free egg product 3/4 cup warm water 1 teaspoon vanilla 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon 1 14 oz can chocolate sweetened condensed milk Spray the inside of a 3 1/2 to 6 quart slow cooker with cooking spray. Place bread cubes in a slow cooker. Sprinkle with chocolate chips. Mix remaining ingredients; pour over bread cubes and chocolate chips. Cover and cook on high for 2 1/2 to 3 hours or until toothpick inserted in center comes out clean. Serve warm. WHITE CHOCOLATE BREAD PUDDING: Substitute French bread cubes for the chocolate bread, regular sweetened condensed milk for the chocolate milk and either 6 ounces of white baking bars, coarsely chopped, or 1 cup of white baking chips for the chocolate chips.
