Barbecued Limas

Amount Measure Ingredient -- Preparation Method

2 16 oz bags frozen lima beans -- thawed & drained

1 medium onion -- chopped (1/2 cup)

2/3 cup vegetable broth

1/3 cup maple-flavored syrup

1/3 cup barbecue sauce

1/2 teaspoon salt

1/8 teaspoon pepper

 

Mix all ingredients in a 3 1/2 to 6 quart slow cooker. Cover and cook on low

heat for 7 to 8 hours or until beans are tender.
