Upside-Down Fudge Brownie Pudding

Amount Measure Ingredient -- Preparation Method

1 cup all-purpose flour

2 teaspoons baking powder

3/4 cup granulated sugar

3 tablespoons cocoa

1/2 cup milk

2 tablespoons butter -- melted

1 teaspoon vanilla

1/4 cup chopped walnuts -- (optional)

3/4 cup packed brown sugar

2 tablespoons cocoa

2 cups boiling water

vanilla ice cream

 

In a bowl, combine flour, baking powder, sugar, and cocoa; mix well.

 

In another bowl, combine milk, butter, and vanilla. Stir into the flour mixture

and add walnuts. The batter will be very thick. Spread evenly in well-greased

slow cooker insert.

 

In a bowl, combine brown sugar and cocoa. Add boiling water, mixing well. Pour

over batter in slow cooker.

 

Cover and cook on high for 2 hours or until toothpick inserted in the center of

the pudding comes out clean. Spoon into individual bowls and serve with scoops

of vanilla ice cream.
