Ranch & Phyllis Pellman Good Serving Size : 4 Preparation Time :0:00 Categories : Fix-It and Forget-It Amount Measure Ingredient -- Preparation Method -------- ------------ -------------------------------- 2 large onions -- chopped 3 large red bell peppers -- chopped 3 large green bell peppers -- chopped 2 tablespoons oil -- (to 3 tbsp) 12 ounces oyster mushrooms -- cleaned & chopped 4 cloves garlic -- minced 3 bay leaves -- chopped 1 tablespoon salt 1 1/2 teaspoons pepper 1 28 oz can Italian plum tomatoes -- crushed or chopped Saute onions and peppers in oil in skillet until soft. Stir in mushrooms and garlic. Saute just until mushrooms begin to turn brown. Pour into slow cooker. Add remaining ingredients and stir well. Cover and cook on low for 6 to 8 hours.
