It won't thin out or break down as dairy sour cream might. 1 cup (8 ounces) cottage or cream cheese 1 can condensed cream of onion, mushroom, chicken or other suitable flavored soup 1-2 tablespoons lemon juice Blend ingredients until smooth in blender, food processor or mixer.
