Ranch & Phyllis Pellman Good Serving Size : 12 Preparation Time :0:00 Categories : Fix-It and Forget-It Amount Measure Ingredient -- Preparation Method -------- ------------ -------------------------------- 5 pounds potatoes -- peeled, cooked & mashed 8 ounces cream cheese -- softened 1 1/2 cups sour cream 3 teaspoons onion or garlic salt 1 1/2 teaspoons salt 1/4 teaspoon pepper -- (to 1/2 tsp) 2 tablespoons butter Combine all ingredients. Pour into slow cooker. Cover and cook on low for 5 to 6 hours. These potatoes may be prepared 3 to 4 days in advance of serving and kept in the refrigerator until ready to use. VARIATIONS: Add 1 1/2 cups shredded cheddar cheese to step 1. Sprinkle with paprika before cooking.
