Barbecued Hot Dogs

 

Recipe By :Adapted From Fix-It and Forget-It Cookbook, Dawn J. Ranch &

Phyllis Pellman Good

Amount Measure Ingredient -- Preparation Method

1 cup apricot preserves

4 ounces tomato sauce

1/3 cup vinegar

2 tablespoons soy sauce

2 tablespoons honey

1 tablespoon oil

1 teaspoon salt

1/4 teaspoon ground ginger

2 pounds vegetarian hot dogs -- cut into 1 " pieces

 

Combine all ingredients except hot dogs in slow cooker. Cover and cook on

high for 30 minutes. Add hot dog pieces. Cook on low for 4 hours. Serve

over rice as a main dish or as an appetizer.
