Vegetarian Chili (Fix It and Forget It)

Amount Measure Ingredient -- Preparation Method

3 cloves garlic -- minced

2 onions -- chopped

1 cup TVP -- (texturized vegetable protein)

1 16 oz can beans of your choice -- drained

1 green bell pepper -- chopped

1 jalapeno pepper -- seeded & chopped

1 28 oz can diced Italian tomatoes

1 bay leaf

1 tablespoon dried oregano

1/2 teaspoon salt -- (to 1 tsp)

1/4 teaspoon pepper

 

Combine all ingredients in slow cooker. Cover and cook on low for 6 to 8 hours.
