2 14.5 oz cans vegetable broth

1/2 cup sliced carrots

1/2 cup diced onions

1 cup diced potatoes

1 clove garlic

1 8 oz can crushed tomatoes

1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce

salsa to taste

GARNISHES: grated cheese, diced avocados,

diced green peppers, diced cucumbers,

sliced ripe olives, sauteed mushrooms,

sliced green onion, chopped hard-cooked

eggs, diced tomatoes, sour cream

 

Combine broth, carrots, onions, potatoes, garlic, tomatoes, and Worcestershire

sauce in slow cooker. Cook on low for 6 to 8 hours.

 

Before serving, stir in salsa, sampling as you go to get the right balance of

flavors.

 

Serve the soup in bowls, allowing guests to add the garnishes of their choice.
