Marilyn's Chili Con Queso

Amount Measure Ingredient -- Preparation Method

1 tablespoon chopped green bell pepper

1 tablespoon chopped celery

1 tablespoon chopped onion

2 tablespoons diced tomatoes

2 teaspoons chopped jalapeno pepper

1/2 cup water

3/4 cup heavy cream

8 ounces Velveeta -- cubed

2 ounces Cheddar cheese -- shredded

 

Place first 5 ingredients in slow cooker. Add water. Cover. Cook on high 1

hour or until vegetables are tender. Stir in cream and cheeses. Reduce heat to

low. Cook until cheese is melted. Serve immediately or keep warm on low for

hours. Serve with tortilla chips.
