2 1/2 cups dry Great Northern beans

4 cups water

1 1/2 cups tomato sauce

1/2 cup brown sugar

2 teaspoons salt

1 small onion -- chopped

1/2 teaspoon chili powder

 

Wash and drain dry beans. Combine beans and water in slow cooker. Cook on low

for 8 hours or overnight.

 

Stir in remaining ingredients. Cook on low 6 hours.
