Ranck & Phyllis Pellman Good Serving Size : 6 Preparation Time :0:00 Categories : Breads Fix-It and Forget-It Cookbook Amount Measure Ingredient -- Preparation Method -------- ------------ -------------------------------- 1 1/4 cups flour 3/4 cup yellow cornmeal 1/4 cup sugar 4 1/2 teaspoons baking powder 1 teaspoon salt 1 egg -- slightly beaten 1 cup milk 1/3 cup melted butter or oil In mixing bowl, sift together flour, cornmeal, sugar, baking powder, and salt. Make a well in the center. Pour egg, milk, and butter into well. Mix into the dry mixture until just moistened. Pour mixture into a greased 2-quart mold. Cover with a plate.
