Marshmallows (was: Caramel Rum Fondue)

Sadly, vegetarian marshmallows appear to be unavailable anywhere in the

world at this time. Emes used to make them, but their factory burned

(imagine the lovely smell!) and they haven't built another that I know of.

The other kosher marshmallow manufacturer in Israel uses animal-source

gelatin, as do all of the other marshmallow producers that I know of.

 

However, if anybody ever hears of a vegetarian marshmallow source, please,

please let me know! I have a marshmallow recipe (to make marshmallows from

scratch), but it's so involved that I haven't tried it yet.
