Texas Tomatoes with Rice

1 28 oz can diced tomatoes -- undrained

2 cups hot water

2 cups uncooked instant rice

3/4 cup finely chopped onion

1 1/2 teaspoons chili seasoning

2 teaspoons dried parsley

1 tablespoon Brown Sugar Twin

1/8 teaspoon black pepper

 

Spray a slow cooker container with butter-flavored cooking spray. In prepared

container, combine undrained tomatoes and water. Stir in uncooked rice and

onion. Add chili seasoning, parsley, Brown Sugar Twin, and black pepper. Mix

well to combine. Cover and cook on low for 4 to 6 hours. Mix well before

serving.
