Guest guest Posted March 27, 2001 Report Share Posted March 27, 2001 Steamed Rice 1 T butter 2 Lbs long-grained raw rice 10 cups hot water 5 tsp. salt Coat the bottom and sides of crockpot with butter. Combine rice, water and salt into the crockpot. Cover Pot. Steam rice at high until all of water is absorbed (about 2 hours). (I'd recommend making this one while you are home to keep an eye on it.)
