Vegetarian, Crockpot Israeli Wheat Berry Stew

Amount Measure Ingredient -- Preparation Method

5 cups water

1 1/2 cups Great northern beans

1 cup wheat berries

6 small potatoes -- cut in half

1 large onion -- sliced

4 cloves garlic -- minced

5 teaspoons cumin -- ground

3 teaspoons tumeric

1/2 teaspoon black pepper -- ground

 

Mix together all ingredients in crockpot.

Cook at high 8 to 10 hours.
