Guest guest Posted March 20, 2001 Report Share Posted March 20, 2001 Vegetarian, Crockpot Compote of Dried Fruit From; Clear & Simple Crockery Cooking 1 c. dried prumes 1 c. dried golden seedless raisins 1 c. dried apricots 2 1/2 cs. water 1/4 rind of 1 lemon, slivered For special occasions, serve this with bourbon-flavored whipped cream. To Cook: Place all the ingredients in the slow cooker, cover, and cook on Low for 10 to 12 hours or overnight. Chill before serving. Makes 8 to 10 servings.
