Guest guest Posted March 19, 2001 Report Share Posted March 19, 2001 * Exported from MasterCook * Ravioli Casserole Recipe By :Adapted from Best Loved Slow Cooker Recipes Serving Size : 6 Preparation Time :0:00 Categories : Main Dishes Pasta & Pasta Sauces Amount Measure Ingredient -- Preparation Method -------- ------------ -------------------------------- 1 12 oz package Morningstar Farms Burger Style " Recipe Crumbles " 1 medium onion -- chopped 1 clove garlic -- minced OR 1/4 tsp garlic powder 1 16 oz can tomato sauce 1 14 oz can stewed tomatoes -- undrained 1 teaspoon dried oregano 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning salt & black pepper to taste 1 16 oz package bow tie pasta -- cooked 1 10 oz package frozen chopped spinach -- thawed 1 1/2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese In a large skillet over medium-high heat, cook Recipe Crumbles, onion, and garlic. Cook until onion is clear and soft approximately 20 minutes. Transfer to slow cooker. Add tomato sauce, tomatoes, oregano, Italian seasoning, salt & pepper, stirring to break up tomatoes. Cover and cook on low for 7-8 hours or on high for 3-4 hours. During the last 30 minutes, turn heat to high if on low. Stir in cooked pasta, spinach, and cheeses. Serve immediately when mozzarella cheese is melted. VARIATION: Use 2 10 oz pkgs of frozen spinach instead of the Recipe Crumbles & spinach. S(MC-Formatted by:): " Karen C.
