Guest guest Posted March 8, 2001 Report Share Posted March 8, 2001 Nectarine Chutney Makes about 5 cups 2 cups chopped fresh nectarines or peeled peaches 2 cups chopped peeled apples 1 small onion, chopped 1/2 cup dried cherries 1/2 cup golden raisins 1 tbsp. honey 1/2 cup cider vinegar 3/4 cup packed brown sugar 1/4 tsp. ground cinnamon 1/4 tsp. red (cayenne) pepper 1/4 tsp. ground cloves 1 tsp. ground ginger q tsp. mustard seeds Combine all ingredients in a slow cooker. Cover and cook on LOW 4 to 6 hrs. Serve warm or cold. To keep chutney, place in covered container and refrigerate. It will keep for weeks.
