Guest guest Posted February 27, 2001 Report Share Posted February 27, 2001 Spiced Rhubarb Bake Makes 5-6 servings 1 1/2 lbs. fresh rhubarb 3/4 cup sugar 1 cinnamon stick 1 tsp. grated orange or lemon peel 1/4 cup butter or margarine 1/4 cup flour 1/3 cup sugar Cut rhubarb into 1 " pcs. In slow-cooker, combine rhubarb with 3/4 cup sugar, cinnamon , cloves and grated peel. Cover and cook on low for 3-4 hrs. Remove cinnamon and cloves. Spoon rhubarb into shallow baking dish. In small bowl, mix together, butter, flour and 1/3 cup of sugar with fork or pastry blender. Sprinkle over cooked rhubarb. Bake at 400* for about 20 min.
