Guest guest
I don't have one yet but am hoping to find some soon! I recently discovered that I could actually cook beans from a raw state with a reasonable chance of tenderness by using the crockpot. Sort through, rinse, put in crockpot and fill crockpot with 3 times as much warm water as beans. Cook all day on low. Add more water if needed. I'm sure there are far better recipes for beans from scratch, but this is going to have to be my only contribution for now except for one little hint: My mother taught me to spray the interior with Pam Spray for a more no-stick surface or easier cleaning. This was taught to her in the days when crock pots were non-immersible. Holly
