Guest guest
This is egregious and precisely why my family and I eat out so little. McDonalds suffered, and quite rightfully, when they were caught lying. They're doing it again, too. They remain unrepentant and now refuse to implement their switch to healthier oils and foods, citing " customer satisfaction. " What idiocy. If such hostile behavior becomes the norm, then how can ANY of their customers trust what they are being served? Drop a burger on the floor? No problem, just pick it up and serve it. Buy tainted beef? No problem, keep quiet and no one will know. We can pay off the few who try to sue. That's the prevailing attitude. It's not only vegetarians being disrespected and often hurt by this insupportable arrogance. Guest guest
I'm not posting this in defense of McDonalds. I saw this the other day and just thought I'd post it since the subject was being discussed. UK McDonalds now serves fresh fruit, salads and chicken breast sandwiches etc. Shawn " STUNG by criticism that its food is laden with fat and salt, McDonald's said its British restaurants will be the first in the world to sell fresh fruit. Starting in April, grapes and sliced apples will be sold in 80 gram bags at 59 pence ($1.55), the company said. Guest guest
i still wouldn't trust anything from mcdonalds.....there's no telling what they do to that " fresh " fruit. when my husband was in high school, he worked at a place that processed lettuce for mcdonalds. part of the processing included bleaching the lettuce and then adding chemicals to keep it " fresh. " i'm sure the way mcdonald's processes everything is shady. susie --- _- MatrixenO -_ <matrixeno wrote: > I'm not posting this in defense of McDonalds.
