Guest guest
Here's a different way to bake bread and it's easy! Anyone ever hear of: BEER BREAD: You will need: 3 cups of self-rising flour 1 tablespoon sugar 1 six-pack of beer 1 tablespoon butter, melted one 9 x 5-inch loaf pan How to make the bread: Preheat the oven to 325 degrees. In a large bowl, blend the flour and sugar. Quickly mix in one can of beer. Put the mixture into a greased 9 x 5-inch loaf pan. Wet your fingers, and smooth the top. Then bake for 1 hour or until golden brown. While you're waiting; drink the other 5 cans of beer, then after the bread has baked and it's hot; brush the top of the bread with melted butter. This will make 6 servings to sober you up after drinking those 5 beers while waiting in a hot kitchen for the bread to finish baking. CHEERS! Guest guest
LOL! Hey, this sounds like a great recipe to put on my St. Paddy's Day menu. :::hick::: Thanks Don. ~ PT ~ To live content with small means; to seek elegance rather than luxury, and refinement rather than fashion; to be worthy, not respectable, and wealthy, not rich; to listen to stars and birds, babes and sages, with open heart; to study hard; to think quietly, act frankly, talk gently, await occasions, hurry never; in a word, to let the spiritual, unbidden and unconscious, grow up through the common-- this is my symphony. ~William Henry Channing, clergyman, reformer (1810-1884) ~~~*~~~*~~~*~~~*~~~~*~~~*~~~*~~~*~~~~*~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~> , " Don <d arkinvader45210> " <darkinvader45210> wrote: > Here's a different way to bake bread While you're waiting; drink the other 5 cans of beer, > then after the bread has baked and it's hot; brush the top of the > bread with melted butter. > > This will make 6 servings to sober you up after drinking those 5 > beers while waiting in a hot kitchen for the bread to finish baking. > > CHEERS! > > Don
