Well, thanks for the interpretation and the interest in the

Cheesecake, and yes - it's my own creation, but everytime I make it -

I do something different such as in the cheesecake mix I've been

known to add some Amaretto in with the Amaretto Coffee Creamer. So,

be creative when making this. As far as the Pepperidge Farm Cookies

goes - any kind will do. Whatever pleases you. And now - how about

faking a:

GERMAN CHOCOLATE 3-LAYER CAKE:

What you will need:

1 package German Chocolate Cake Mix [any kind will do]

Coconut Flakes [small package]

Hershey's Chocolate Morsels [small package]

1 small jar of cherries

2 containers of Coconut-Pecan Premade Frosting

2 containers of Chocolate-Fudge Premade Frosting

3 8 " round cake pans

Your choice of ice-cream

How to make the cake:

Follow the directions and then fold in the chocolate-morsels,

cherries, and coconut flakes. Then divide into 3 round cake pans

after you have greased and floured them, or whatever you use so that

the cakes will not stick to the pans.

After cooled - take an ordinary dinner plate and invert one layer so

that the flat side is up and goop on some of the Coconut-Pecan

Frosting. The place the second layer on top and with a serrated-

knife cut the top so that the top is flat and goop on the Frosting on

top and then place the third layer on top and goop all over the top

with the frosting. Then take your dark chocolate-fudge frosting and

frost the sides all around.

Let set in the refrigerator. Then when serving - when you get rave

reviews. Let everyone think you made it from scatch. Then will -

you know! When asked for the recipe - just tell them that it's a

secret family recipe and that you are sworn to secrecy not to give it

out! Then as they enjoy - just giggle to yourself! And don't forget

to serve a scoop of your favorite ice-cream on the side of the cake!

Remember that if you have any of the frosting left over - you can

combine the two slightly - roll into ballas and refrigerate to the

point that you have - German Chocolate-Fudge Candy!

So, what else is there to say but:

ENJOY!

This dessert sounds so sinfully rich and good.

Thanks so much. I might have to try it and take it

to my next gathering; think I will leave out the cherries

in the batter though and maybe put in some toffee bits.

It seems to me that trying to live without friends is like milking

a bear to get cream for your coffee. It is a whole lot of trouble,

and then not worth much after you get it.
