Guest guest
Shawn, Yes, I saw the response and get it now. And I applaud the compassion for our animal brethren, too. We once made a scratching post for our cat by taking a segment of tree trunk cut into about a foot long log for a fireplace, then mounting it on a flat square of plywood covered with old carpet, then placing a round piece of plywood similarly covered on top, so that it made a kind of I-beam shape, only rather slanted. Cat loved it. We'd planned to place a cover over the top, too, so it would have a place to hide in, but never got around to that. We were going to use one of those cheap plastic containers you can get anywhere these days, with an upside-down U-shaped door cut into it. Guest guest
Hi Gene. Hah. Simple yet effective...I like. Sounds like it was an italics I-beam shape. Thanks for the idea.
