Guest guest
That makes more sense. I am always amazed when I happen across one of those food pyramid charts they use in schools to " teach " ,or rather misinform, children about nutrition, especially if the school is using an older or outdated chart. One my son brought home a few weeks ago listed that your body needed 3 servings of meat! It was really weird. They didn't list any other forms of protein. ~ PT ~ The human contribution is the essential ingredient. It is only in the giving of oneself to others that we truly live. ~ Ethel Percy Andrus ~~~*~~~*~~~*~~~*~~~*~~~*~~~*~~~*~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~> , ~michelle~ < goldfish_cracker_addict> wrote: > in most health classes nowadays (at least from my > experience) this food group has now been renamed " the > protein group "
