Guest guest
I have made this before and skipped using any TVP and just added more vegetables. Golden Pasta Spirals 1 lb package of vegetarian tvp or ground meat sub** 1 Tb olive oil 1 medium onion, chopped 1 medium green pepper, chopped 1 can ( 10.75 oz) golden mushroom soup, undiluted 1 can (8oz) tomato sauce 1 1/2 cups shredded cheddar cheese, divided 1 package (8oz) spiral pasta, cooked and drained In a large skillet or saucepan over medium heat, cook the veggie ground, onion and green pepper in the olive oil until the onions are soft. Add the soup, tomato sauce, one cup of cheese and salt. Stir in the pasta. Transfer to a greased 2 1/2 quart baking dish. Sprinkle with remaining cheese. Bake uncovered at 350 degrees for 30 minutes or until bubbly. Yield: 4 to 6 servings **(I use Yves brand veggie ground, but it comes in a 1 1/2 lb package, so I don't use whole package) ~ PT ~ It is chiefly through books that we enjoy intercourse with superior minds. ~ William Ellery Channing, clergyman and writer (1780-1842)
