Guest guest
Exactly so. Mr. Graves alone has displayed simplicity, directness, and understanding in a compassionate way, and deserves a kudos he is unlikely to receive from what is laughingly called this group. But those concerned in this group have already come out into the open with the Games People Play ploys and so on, so there is no need to bother even trying to do any further discussing of this or, really, anything. I'd noted this pattern, and this fact, in an earlier post. Time to let it ALL go. This group is officially declared brain dead, although I'm sure it'll stagger on in its smug, mindless fashion otherwise, and it is both a shame and predictable that it's happened over something so irrelevant no one even knows enough about it to answer simple questions. Such is life on this politically correct, mincing little world of self-terror, mindless conformity, and unexamined lives. Dogma = rules blindly accepted. Quakerism is like any and all other religions in having dogma. Philosophy is preferrable, but only marginally. " Philosophy is useless, theology is worse. " -- Mark Knopfler " Philosophy is the stuff on a cereal box, religion's a smile on a dog. " -- Edie Brickell & the New Bohemians. Now let the self-congratulatory festival of idiocy begin, me droogs. The information is in every post. Philosophy is preferrable, but only marginally. Please, do share, what dogma do you find in Quakerism? ... and how would you know given that you didn't read the post I wrote? As for the " brain-dead " remark, I am sure that there are many other lists on which would more adequately fulfil your needs.
