Every time I faced a particularily difficult person I found it had an answer that worked for me. A classic " vicious circle " that starts with an innocent enough question --> response --> indignation --> response --> indignation --> .... (i.e., you just can't please some people no matter what you say to them.) Lee-Gwen and Pixx, I suggest that no matter your response, indignation is what you'll get in return. Sadly, this is a " game of life " that few will ever acknowledge they play (maybe because they don't know it's a destructive game). It's usually up to the responder to end the game. That's fine. It may be that there is someone out in Lurker Land on this list for whom the information I provided is precisely what was needed.
