" ) Outside of the country style places, I've found restaurants to be very accomodating. Any time I haven't been able to find something on the menu, I've asked the server, & the chef has prepared something veg for me. My big complaint is with grocery shopping. Not exactly veg friendly. My local grocery store carries 3 different brands of souse meat, but I have to drive 30 minutes to find an eggplant. I think there is a Whole Foods about an hour from me, but I've never been. We have a couple local small stores though. For a big city, it is really surprising to me that we don't have a large one.
