tempura batter , not butter (Brigitte)

Just be sure to ask for batter, not butter.

Batter is a type of flour based coating, kind of a paste

that you would dip vegetables in, then fry and then the

vegetable would have a crispy breading.

 

Here is a site with a recipe, but I haven't tried it yet myself.
